Sabbath and Jubilee

I continue to be challenged by Claude's presentation about Jubilee. Jubilee is a beautiful invitation to be about the work of the Kingdom. For many of us it is barely a dream let alone a hope. I'm convinced that a rediscovery of the practice of Sabbath is necessary to begin to move toward Jubilee. While in Africa I talked to some folks about my thoughts concerning Sabbath practice. I feel like the ministry of presence that we practiced with our sisters and brothers is a form of Sabbath practice. Letting go of our agenda to just be with the other! The power of presence is a mystery at the heart of creation. Anyway… I wanted to invite anyone who wishes to explore this more to take a look at a keynote presentation on my church’s web site that describes a model of the kind of Sabbath practice that May lead us to the possibility of Jubilee. You can check it out here-

I welcome any dialogue around this.
Peace,?Terry

where to look

Hey Terry--

I'm trying to locate your Sabbath stuff but not finding it. I thoroughly enjoyed what I heard when we were at the conference.

I'm so curious to hear about your reflections on the serendipitous Rwanda trip.

Get the pics?
