Taizé is a monastic community in France. Their simple worship style (plainsong, candles) has attracted an international following for decades. In 1995, Brother Roger led a pilgrimage to Jhb that brought together around 2000 young adults.
I suppose it's their ecumenical spirituality that has so much to teach the church.
Nic, the site simply mentions the brothers will be visiting young adults in South Africa. I'd suggest calling one of the contact numbers listed on their itinerary for Cape Town.
If you're into liturgy, you may find one of the sessions helpful - and I'd like to see your analysis!

We are going on Sunday morning at St Georges.
Additionally that web site is a great resource; Ann and I have been learning their chants (soprano and bass only at this stage) - we're pretty excited at integrating it into our worship.
You get the written music, the full recording, all the languages, and each part separated: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you like this type of music, or even if you are trying to, or even if you don't, because you should. In fact, its obligatory. In fact, by singing this way you find salvation. Don't say you weren't told.
We went but there was too many bells and smells activities and the whole Taize thing got edited down quite a bit (1 5 min sermon and 2 chants done by the St Georges choir)
Despite this I am looking forward to learning more of their repetoire.
