I hope to join in on this valuable time. Thanks for setting it up. - When you think of "maturity", what comes to mind? I would like to share some thoughts and prepare a bit beforehand.
I think this is a great creative opportunity. I'd be looking for some fresh angles on what might be a hackneyed subject.
How about "Maturity and Sustainability" (James 1:4 - Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.)
Or "Postmodernity - growing up or arrested development?"
Or "Maturity and a Generous Orthodoxy" (Ephesians 4:13 - until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ)
Or "The Immaturity of Materialism" (Luke 8:14 - The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life's worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.)
Or, "When I grow up I want to be a child".
Or, "Maturity as Journey" (Philippians 3:14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. All of us who are mature should take such a view of things.)
