Ok, this may seem like a shameless plug for my story published at The Times titled "The African Way" (in a way, it is), but the story was written out of the Amaharo conference and the discussions there on post-colonialism etc., so I thought it may be of interest to you guys.

Cool, I think you've got a good point there. In fact a lot of so-called African church tradition is colonial in nature. For some reason the original colonials have moved on, but certain of those adopting the culture have stayed stuck. Interesting!

Well done Stray - its optimistic, and at the same time challenging. You have articulated our thoughts here, and I like the post-colonial angle, you need to go further with this.
Don't be put off by the naysayers on that site. They are imaginally challenged and as as Python taught us all they do is "moan moan moan". We have to have a vision. If we present it, as you do, it can be refined.
