Some time ago some people said they would like to know more of the history of the apartheid period and Christian responses to it. So I've been writing a series of "Tales from Dystopia" for anyone whose interested in that sort of thing, and the latest in the series is Tales from Dystopia V: Sophiatown and ethnic cleansing on my Khanya blog.
That one was sparked off by re-reading Trevor Huddleston's book Naught for your comfort, one that I recommend to anyone who wants to know more about the apartheid period of our history. It also poses some interesting questions to those concerned with the emerging church, such as, for example, what is the relation between "going to church" and "building community".
